ZAMBOANGA CITY: A police officer of the explosive ordinance demolition (EOD) team and a bomb-sniffing dog was injured after two explosions rocked the center of this city’s town proper, in the evening last Sunday, belated reports reaching Mindanao Pilgrim said.

The Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) identified the victim as PO2 Manuel Franklin Ined and the K9 dog as “Diego.”

ZCPO investigation showed the first explosion occurred at the second floor of the De Luxe Massage and Videoke along Tomas Claudio Street.

ZCPO Director Angelito Casimiro said that based on the descriptions given by witnesses at the site of the explosions, the suspect is described as somewhere near 30 years old, medium built, and with fair complexion.
